and varied outdoor activities, including in the winter 330 km of skiing trails
and over 200 km of hiking and cycling trails in the summer or even in the wintertime,
too. The place is a real paradise for a nature lover and there are lots of
activities for holidays all over the year.
The distance from Kolari is 37 km, from Kittilä 50 km and from Rovaniemi 170 km. The nearest ski tracks and restaurants are only 100 meters away, the Jouni shopping center is 200 meters away, the bus and Skibus stops are 50 meters away. To Äkäslompolo is easy to get and there is no need to have a car.

Äkäslompolo village, where all the important things are nearby: stunning
nature, outdoor and sports facilities and services.
The Skistar Apartment
201 is built in spring 2019 and it is the largert apartment in the buiding. Skistar 201 is on the second floor, which is the toppest floor. The Apartment is brand new, clean and
decorated with natural colours. There are 3 bedrooms together, with a total 6
beds and all rooms have lot of closet space. In addition, all bedrooms have
room darkening curtains to guarantee a good night's sleep. In the apartment, of
course, there is a private sauna, where you can enjoy relaxing steams. Also,
there is a furnished balcony, which overlooks to the Ylläs Fell. Downstairs you
can find facilities for both skis maintenance and laundry handling. It is
possible to dry your laundry either in a laundry room or in the apartment. For
active holidaymakers, we have lot of space for various sportswear and
accessories, right next to the entrance door, e.g. helmets, boots, skis and sticks.
Thanks to Apartment size and functionality, the Apartment is ideal for families with children or for over generations or for a small groups, who are planning an active holidays. Your holidays are made easy and you will have lot of time for leisure and for enjoy the services of the Äkaslompolo.

We respect nature and recommend tourism on behalf of clean environment. Due to central location, you do not need a car. The apartment and a use water are heated with geothermal heating.
